Cayden Robertson, Editor-in-Chief (The Occurrence)
Cayden Robertson, 8, is on Swarm Productions. Some of the things he enjoys are archery, fishing, playing games, and chess.
“I was born August 13, 2009, and I am in 8th grade.” Robertson says.
He lives with his mom and dad. He has two brothers, Evan and Gage and a sister, Kailee.
”We get along pretty well, but we don’t really see each other that much.” Robertson said.
Robertson initially joined Swarm Production because he knew he would enjoy it so he decided to try it out. He also had some history with being on the school staff.
”I liked being on the Bryant Middle School News so I knew I would like this.” Robertson said.
Robertson says he’s most excited about the things they are planning to do further in the year.
“I’m excited to start filming and start work in journalism.” Robertson said.
Robertson states that he plans to be a hard working student this school year. He has many plans on how to achieve these goals.
“My goal for next year is to get good grades. I can study hard and listen to my teachers.” Robertson said.
Carolina Relford, Editor-in-Chief (The Blue and White)
Carolina Relford, 8, is the managing editor for The Blue and White staff.
“I thought it was so cool, and I wanted to be a part of that,” Relford said.
She has three siblings, Gabe, Isaac and Emery. Outside of school Relford does competitive swimming and plays guitar.
Ace Bradley, Staffer/ Assistant Business Manager
Ace Bradley, 8, is one of Bryant Jr High’s cross country runners and a part of The schools News team.
Bradley may be on the cross country team but his dream job is to be an international correspondent.
According to Bradley he joined journalism because of two people, “I decided to join journalism because of my mom and grandma,” Bradley said.
Many Journalists choose to go into college and major in journalism but not Bradley.
He has different plans for college, “I want to go into communications as a major in college”. Bradley said
Bradley also wants to study abroad to further help him reach his goal of being an international correspondent.
But what does an international correspondent do? Bradley says “you get to report around the world”. Bradley said
Bradley is motivated to be an international correspondent because he wants to see the stories and cultures of the world, “I want to be a foreign correspondent, because I want to see what other stories there are in the world and see the other cultures”. Bradley said.
“I really want to be a foreign correspondent,” Bradley said.
