As many people get older, they choose to no longer wear Halloween costumes, or even trick-or-treating at all. But for Taylor Parsons that’s not true, she loves to dress up for Halloween with her kids. She even chooses her family’s costumes a month and a half before Halloween.
For Parsons its not about the candy.
“We usually order them online, but sometimes they are a DIY project or taking things we already own to make a costume,” Parsons, librarian said.
“It makes me feel like a little kid even though I’m not on the door and saying trick-or-treat it brings back memories of being a kid and doing it with my friends and family. I don’t know it, but it makes me feel young again,” Parsons said.
