The medical field is a rigorous career. If a student plans to enter the medical field, elective such as,
- Medical terminology, a course that teaches students specific medical terms used by professionals
- Anatomy/Honors Anatomy, a hands-on course that goes over the structure and functions of the human body.
- Psychology, a course that teaches the student human behaviors and mindsets.
Being an entrepreneur requires a specific skill set. Some courses to consider taking for this career is,
- Economics, a course that covers managing one’s finances
- Oral Communications, teaches a student leadership skills, public speaking, and communicating clearly
- Intro to Business Skills, students will explore managing technology, professional communications, and keeping record of finances.
- Entrepreneurship Marketing, a course that gives the student an overview of the U.S. enterprise system. It teaches ethics, marketing, and saving and investments.
If a student plans to be an architect, they should take these courses to be prepared,

- Civil Engineering and Architecture, a course that goes over the development and design of residential and commercial properties
- Construction, this course will introduce building materials, methods used in residentials and other buildings. They will also learn how to be safe, use tools, and the needed math skills.
- Carpentry, a course that teaches the student installation of building materials, layouts and framing, and how to use standard equipment.
If a student wants to pursue a teaching career path, these classes would help you prepare.
- Intro to Education, a course that provides students a college credit in the Foundations of Education. This course teaches students the development of American education, and a variety of methods on giving instruction.
- Education Technology, a course that introduces students to using various pieces of technology in a classroom. This course will also teach the student on how to utilize technology when teaching.

It’s nice to know what electives you could pick from and how many there are! Theres actually tons i did not know about and i would like to figure out more about them. These electives could help with future decisions and jobs you decide to do and I think that’s pretty neat

I would have loved to take construction and carpentry. When you have to constantly fix things around the house, it helps to understand how it is all put together.
I took Intro to Education and it is one of the reasons I became a teacher. You all are very blessed to have your school district offer so much. Be sure to make the most of it.

I didn’t know about all the classes our school offered! I want to become a doctor and will definitely be taking some of the medical field classes. I wish the article told us if each class was a semester or year though. Thank you for wanting to share this with students who don’t know about all of the interesting classes available.

I honestly found it quite interesting to learn about these lesser-known electives, a lot of which I had never heard of previously. I enjoyed finding reading about these electives which could be really great stepping stones for future careers, but are often neglected by students who are less ambitious or looking for easy credits. I loved the format and how each elective has descriptions that are short and to the point, allowing people to understand them rather quickly without too much thought. I do feel like some more niche topics should be touched up on, for example, film or performing arts classes. In the future, I’d like to see even more examples of these electives and more information about them, including prerequisites and other things to know. Overall, this article was very informative and I loved learning about some of these electives. I’ll definitely mention this to people I know!

I learned that getting into some other electives could help you out. I feel that adding in some of the outlooksed electives is what is the strongest part iof the article. They should have added in some people that do those electives answer some questions. For a further article the writer should add in more electives to prove more of a point.

This is really good becasuse it talks about some of the courses you can take in the Bryant schools district. I learned about some courses that i didnt even know i could take. The most interesting part of the article is that it describes that course and doesnt just tell you the course. But i think that it could have been more descriptive.

I learned that electives can be very helpful for future careers. The most interesting detail was the medical careers because I didn’t know psychology was medical. A detail left out was media communications class for journalism. A suggestion is to add more details about the classes and how hard they are.

For future articles I think there should be one about entrepreneurship and how the classes have helped.

I was surprised by the amount of classes in this school that can help with becoming an entrepreneur. One thing I liked was the multiple different electives you gave to help prepare students for specific career paths. I was wondering if you could list some less-specific career choices in the future? I believe that would help most people find something they could gain from this article. Additionally, if another article will be written, I would recommend adding a larger quantity of careers, as a lot of people will be doing very different things from one another.
