Brayden Johnson, freshman, is a student who is no amateur to journalism, as he is a freshman who previously got the title of “Broadcast Journalist of the Year” in 8th grade.

 

“I like to further my education by practicing on IXL,” Johnson said.

 

Johnson prioritizes his education, but also enjoys all things nature, whether it be taking pictures of it or painting it.

 

“I love taking pictures of videos and pictures of nature, and one of my favorite things is painting landscapes and doing different things like that,” Johnson said.

 

While being a student journalist, Johnson plays the saxophone at school. He enjoys being in both band and journalism.

 

“I’m in journalism and band,” Johnson said.

 

Johnson is motivated by reminding himself that hard work will reward him. By doing this, he became “Broadcast Producer of The Year”, and is motivated to get another title.

 

“Knowing that eventually I’ll reach my goals and get what I want. It might take a while but I know if I work hard enough I’ll reach them,” Johnson said.

 

Brayden has many strengths, and utilizes them in journalism. 

 

“My strengths are talking a lot. I’m respectful. I have empathy. I’m humble. No I’m not. At least I’m self aware. I’m well mannered.” Johnson said.
