Tiffany Kent—the new assistant principal at Bryant Junior High had a few other roles in mind: a basketball coach, a math teacher, anything that would keep her on her toes and helping youth.
“I love working with the kids,” she stated, “I always knew I would do something in education.”
Reaching this goal took dedication. Prior to coming to campus, Kent studied at multiple universities—Arkansas Tech University, University of Central Arkansas and Arkansas State University.
She was an elementary school teacher. After that, she became a middle school science teacher, a full-time math interventionist at Bryant Middle School and an assistant principal at Maumelle Charter Middle School.
During this period, she also started and grew her family.
Because of this, she brings three children and two decades of education and experience to the Bryant School District. Although her role constantly keeps her on her feet, Kent doesn’t regret her decision.
“I love working with the admin, and the teachers are amazing,” Kent said.
